Research centers

Arkema’s research activities are spread across 7 sites around the
world: four in France (in Lacq, Serquigny, Lyon and Carling), two in
the United States (Cary and King of Prussia) and one in Japan
(Kyoto), whose activities are divided as follows:
| Cary (USA) | Arkema Emulsion Systems' Research and Development Center is located in Cary, North Carolina. |
| KOP (USA) | Arkema’s King of Prussia research center near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the Performance Products R&D center for North and South America. |
| GRL (France) | The Lacq Research Group designs and develops sulfur derivatives, adsorbents and advanced nanomaterials. |
| CERDATO (France) | Located in Serquigny, the Ato Research and Development Center is mainly dedicated to development and innovation related to engineered polymers. |
| CRRA (France) | The Rhône-Alpes Research Center in Pierre-Bénite focuses on catalysis and Industrial Chemicals (fluorinated and oxygenated products) and Vinyl Products processes. It also provides customer service for these products. |
| CRDE (France) | The Eastern France R&D Center works with the Carling plant operations and process teams to improve the operation of acrylics units and develop new monomers and applications. |
| KTC (Japon) | The Kyoto Technical Center is the polymer application and technical support center for Asia. |
